If we play 6/5 with the ace then 7/5 must be better than 13/11 so the choice is between 7/5 6/5 and 24/23 13/11. After Black has played 13/9 threatening to prime, Yellow's need to split becomes more urgent; plus 7/5 6/5 leaves a double direct shot. Nevertheless the 5-point is the 5-point. It's going to be hard for Yellow to develop better structure without risking some shots sometime, and if there are going to be any blot-hitting contests then Yellow will really want the 5-point. And Yellow's small race lead has vanished anyway with this small roll. I'm not sure it's right but I would make the 5-point here with 7/5 6/5.
