Cube ruling #1

Player A holds a 2 cube. Player A means to redouble and sets the cube in front of player B and says double but forgets to turn the cube to 4 so that the cube still shows 2.

Player B claims the right to accept the double while retaining the cube value of 2. A ruling is called for. What is your ruling and why?
