Denmark vs. the World

Is it not amazing that Denmark can challenge the entire world to a team event and not be much of an underdog, if they are at all? The world population is 6.7 billion and the population of Denmark is 5.5 million. This would be like the backgammon players of Sandusky, Ohio, population 27,000, challenging the rest of the U.S. to a team event. Amazing. I hope Stick does not live in Sandusky, it would ruin my example?
