Rollouts For Dummies/Gnu

Typically, I do not rollout my errors. If i play gnu on 2 ply, I look at move on 3 ply. I do NOT really know how to set gnu up for rollouts that are relatively quick and accurate- that might be an oxymoron. Currently, these are my gnu settings which take quite looooondg to rollout- therefore, I am not using a good feature to improve my game. After showing these setings, it would be very HELPFUL if someone familiar with gnu, could tell me some other settings for a regular rollout and truncated rollout that would be quicker and relaively accurate.-So, I'd use them more frequently. Current Settings:Rollout.. Trials-1296 Truncation -truncate rollouts(unchecked) truncate at ply.. evaluation for later plies- enable separate evaluations( unchecked).change eval after ply; Stop when rollout is accurate-stop when STD's are small enough(unchecked); Stop rollouts of multiple moves based on std's(unchecked); stop rollouts of moves when best move appears better in trials (unchecked); cubeful(checked) bearoff truncation truncate cubeless(checked)and cubeful money; variance reduction-checked; use quasirandom dice-checked; rollout with initial position-checked; cube decision use same settings as checker play-check; save settings both players-checked; use player 0 for truncation point-checked; I don't really understand what some of these features are and would just like some possible settings for a reg rollout and truncated which I understand to be a shorter type of rollout Thanks so much for your patience and, perhaps, this could be HELPFUL to some other players, as well.
