Storer's BG Praxis

I am contemplating getting Storer's acclaimed "Backgammon Praxis". At Furtuitous Press's site, a sample game from the book is available: Game 1. The sample section looks good, but the level does not seem very advanced. Would you say that the level of the material in the sample is a little light compared to the two volumes as a whole, or is the sample near a "mean" game in the collection ?
