Gregg could quote from the same Wikipedia article:

The concept of innocent until proven guilty refers to legal, as opposed to factual guilt. In every case, the defendant either committed the offence or did not, a fact that remains true regardless of whether the jury acquits or convicts.

Which looks pretty much to be Gregg's point. But Wiki's not so fussy about omitting "presumed" or "considered" or "legally" or "presumed factually" before the phrase "innocent until proven guilty."
