I often wondered what the differences were between the two. I used to play squash (in my younger and fitter days), and thats one hell of a strenuous game. If Racquetball is more about power, then it sounds like an equally strenuous game (perhaps more so!).

Although Squash uses a more dense ball (heavier, less bounce, smaller), never be surprised at the amount of power or speed that is generated on a serve. I would imagine that 190mph is close to unattainable, but wouldnt be surprised at speeds in excess of 120mph. A brief google gives me 170mph as a fast (perhaps not the fastest) recorded drive.

Interestingly, the faster balls in Squash are considered to be beginner balls. Is this the case with Racquetball too?
