Comments on the Covlin Story

Carter insulted me in the chouette today and I think he should step down from the board of governors of the USBGF.
In a tournament last year, Alfred played me a match for money, betting on who would get the best ER rating. He beat me by a very narrow margin and took my money. I found out later that he was an Open player. Very unfair. He should step down.
Last but not least, Richard Munitz gave a short presentation about the status of the USBGF at a tournament earlier this year and did not mention my name one. He should voluntarily step down.
For the record, I am stating that all of the above people are guilty. We are ALL guilty of something (in my heart, I cheated at backgammon), but so long as we can be of service to the organization and the game and are willing to serve, when you consider what we are getting paid to do it, we should be supported in our efforts and not distracted by unrelated matters.
I am sure the Rod situation will be resolved in time; I am sure Richard will be kinder to me. I am sure Alfred will never hustle me again. And I am sure Carter will insult me again tomorrow.
