I'm with you, Falafel.
And similarly with all these never-ending rollouts through a million games to four decimal places. If two moves are that close does it really matter which you make? Go with the one that makes you most comfortable with the consequent flow of the game.
A relatively short rollout should give very good comparative results. Anything more is overkill.
Same with the obsession with error rates. Sure, they're certainly indicative of skill level, but that's it -- only indicative of what might be anticipated in the match results. The dice, the somewhat random complexities of problems faced, the associated scores, the 'feel' for the game and the opponent, etc. all matter as much or more -- within reason, of course.
