Does anyone agree with GNU 2-ply that I lose about 44% of the games from here?

Both 1-ply and 3-ply correctly find that this position is way TG.

Is there something fundamentally wrong with 2-ply or is this just a strange exception? Should my default eval be set to something else?

I am getting tempted just to go with XG because GNU often baffles me.
