Atlanta Update #1

I have played in more than ten tournaments in Atlanta since 1998. Of the five different hotels, the current one is by far the nicest. The rooms are $99 and everything about the hotel is beautiful.
In the masters' event, fourteen people entered plus two bought back, making a full draw of sixteen. In the round of eight, local expert Stuart Thomsen (he plays better than some on the Giant-32 list but is relatively unknown) beat Gregg Cattanaugh. Ray Fogerlund will play Steve Nelson. Stacy Turner beat Mike Senk in the first round and then beat auctioneer Larry Taylor. Ed O'Laughlin beat John O'Hagan in the first round and then beat lecturer and author (and expert tennis and piano player) Mike Corbett.
There are 31 players in the open and 23 in the advanced.
There is a transvestite convention going on at the hotel. Lots of guys are parading around in women's clothes. All of you bgonliners who are cross dressers (Stick says there are many of you and he knows who you are) should come to Atlanta next year to hook up with others who enjoy wearing women's clothing.
