I think there is no question that a position like this is a perfect application of the Woolsey rule. In my opinion, this is a position that one wants to drop at first glance and needs to convince oneself that it is in fact a take. While the score is lopsided, there are 13 points left for the leader and it is just so easy for anyone to think there is plenty of time left. I double here for sure and expect to get plenty of drops, even from strong players. It is not obvious on quick glance that this is not too good. I can easily see someone being glad to see the cube to get out of this game. Give them the opportunity.

I think that the Woolsey rule applies at any score. But the rule hinges on the obviousness of the take. If it is an obvious take at the score, the Woolsey rule does not apply. But there are scores that everyone knows are just auto-takes with contact, so one must be smart enough to know that you just dont cube there.
