In Response To: Cube action from Cyprus (Matt Cohn-Geier)

For reference, assuming dmp and the current board setup if Blue achieves a closeout with perfect distrubution he is between 97.5% and 98%.

If Blue's distribution is not perfect, as I think we should assume for this problem, it becomes a different beast. With even a random yet normal chink in his armor Blue drops a full percent to even a percent and a half. (no immediate shot leaving numbers possible but a worse distribution for the bearoff and no men yet off) Now the more realistic view of when Blue closes out the checker comes down to roughly 96%.

We've worked our way up to 4% as the person being doubled without any effort. We need only 6.5% to take. While I don't think rolling the prime will be that much of an issue I'll add another full percent for that bringing us up to 5%. I believe if anything I am hitting the low end assuming 5%. That means while it may be a drop with equal player v. equal player if there is a 100 elo difference it's definitely a takable cube.
