I'm surprised that Ray hasnt chimed in with a well timed diatribe on the advantages of the psychological impact of the game. (and perhaps even the monstrous 6-2 from the bar!)

Since Ray isn't here I guess I will fill in for him: Blah blah blah the bots are always wrong blah blah when will people start listening to me blah psychology blah blah know how to win blah.

Either way, if you reasoned it out this much OTB, and you got to the point where you reached a mental DP, then you did the right thing. Will you do it again next time? [auto answer: of course]. Really?

No. Feels like I made a big mistake here. I would cube a WC player here (for ex. Falafel) though. But OTOH a WC player would generally pass.

Bad beat. You must surely have found some feisty chou's to cheer you up afterwards tho?

Usually I like to play chouettes after I get knocked out but I don't play when I am steaming. Sometimes I just want a break from backgammon.
