At DMP my play is 9/7*/6 trying to bear in my checkers while White is on the bar.

For money I'm less worried about winning a gammon than about losing a gammon. It's possible that if White owns the cube then hit/dance is a play-on. Still I think I would make the same play in either case.

But the fact that you didn't ask about what would happen if Blue owned the cube makes me wonder whether I am unduly worried about losing a gammon and should be thinking more about winning a gammon.
