I'm not surprised at this close result. Unlike an opening 41S or 21S, the 51S opening doesn't create another builder/blot for the oppt to make points with/ you to shoot at, which lessens your need to take away half his roll by making the acepoint. I'd be surprised if making the 3-pt. didn't win a DMP RO.
