Error Rates and Edges

In Response To: Error Rates and Edges (eXtreme Gammon)

The idea being that Short, Polgar, Shirov, and Kasparov will all generally win 99.9% of their matches when they play someone who is 400+ ELO weaker than them regardless of how the weaker player plays. This does not necessarily hold for backgammon and in my experience it could be way off.
