Most of the rollouts I recall seeing have 13/9 13/10 coming out on top by a small margin. While it's easy to see the benefits of creating so many strong point-making combinations, this result is also a bit counter intuitive. The player on roll has been blessed with a 7 pip racing lead, which, thematically, argues against priming oriented plays and in favor of splitting, to build on the racing advantage by escaping a checker or making an advanced anchor. I've been waiting to see if the stronger bots start to swing away from the building approach and back toward splitting, but so far they haven't seemed to.
