Nack: RO are reproducable. I won't redo David's ROs because they are a bit long. but for instance if I redo Chase's ( http://www.bgonline.org/forums/webbbs_config.pl?frames;read=68157 ) I get:

is Player 2

This is almost the same (14/11 14/9 is showing 25.78% for Chase's and 25.77% for mine, 0.01% is equivalent to 0.0002 equity in money games) This small difference is due to optimization and order of the moves avaluated (which changes due to multi threading).

What chase was refering in his post was that if you take 2 differents positions (for instance 41S-54 and 41$-54) and roll a move it will generate 2 different dice sequence because the hash of the position is added to user seed to get the final seed.

In the case of David's ROs, the position is the same (even if the score is different) so all dice sequence are the across all RO for each game.

I've the feeling I am not explaining all that very well so fell free to ask me question until it's clear.
