Chicago ABT Finals

I was fine with the format. What it amounts to is a way of stretching out a two day event over a three day weekend.

One characteristic of the more usual tournament formats is that there's a limit to how badly you can perform -- by the time you go 0-3 or 1-3, you're done. This weekend my record in the main event was 2-8. While I wasn't thrilled about my performance, I appreciated the opportunity to get so much play.
