Attending my first ABT and playing in the intermediate division I really liked the format because it allowed me get in a lot of play for relative little expenditure. Had I been waiting for the conso after the first couple of losses I would not have found the weekend nearly as enjoyable (not sure how I would feel however, had I qualified earlier rather than later and was waiting for main to begin, although I might have entered a blitz or two in that case).
