Annoyed... two steps forward, two steps backward

I feel annoyed with backgammon lately... I continue to make just gargantuan whoppers... my priorities are all messed up... I coughed up a quadruple whopper in the OLM, and that stuff remains routine for me. In some ways, I'm improving, and understanding certain themes better, but it feels all for naught when I analyze a match I play and my error rate is through the roof (like 10) because of too many big big errors. Grrrrr, just annoyed. I should be a much better player than I am. Sorry, I think I needed to vent publicly.

Anybody ever reach this point, where you just feel like you're not really improving as a player, and it just annoyed the spit out of you?
