I know - but so many good Spanish teams that did not go anywhere in the past... I am afraid they'll be out early again. A bit similar to the Netherlands - both very good teams, but don't seem to win it all. When Netherlands won the European Championship in '88, I also did not give them very high chances in the World Cup.

I would not mind at all if Spain would win, I'd welcome it because the quality of the play, but I do not rate the Spanish chances that high as the bookmakers do.

And for the record: I'd hope for a Netherlands victory, and if not the Netherlands, Italy.
