In general I think it is very difficult to come up with a position that you can prove is unreachable with perfect play (assuming it is reachable at all). I've seen a couple of examples but they were contrived expressly to demonstrate the possibility. I think you underestimate what kinds of things you can force when you are allowed to control both dice.
