Snake against how many checkers ?

The score (after 0 games) is: GNU 2, nabla 1 (match to 3 points, Crawford game)

The diagram is from a real game but don't mind the precise position too much and not that it is DMP. My real question is : how many checkers must be off for hitting the second checker to be right ?

And an even more important question is : how the hell does one play the snake against two checkers ? No way I was going to hit without knowing that.

No bot info coming because I wouldn't trust it anyway.
