In both positions, double hitting is correct, but it leaves four blots around.
From what I know, that means that we will waste couple of next moves to clean this mess. (And we all know that commitment is bad)
We have only one point in our homeboard so opponent will dance with one checker 1/3 times. Is that enough to neutralize 1/3 times when we are hit?
What else is going on here? I don't know how to explain to myself why is double hitting so much better than other moves.
