I cube at 57% volatile positions and 67% non-volatile positions at most match scores. However, at four away the volatile cubing is 53% and non-volatile is 63%. Thus, the first position is an easy cube for me. The above criteria are for gammonish positions. The cubing windows are obviously higher numbers for non-gammonish positions.

53% volatile cubing is quite agressive. I definitely have itchy cubing fingers at 4 away. The above example illustrates why I cube quickly at this score. You really do not want to lose your market when 4 points can win the match.

I wouldn't know what to do in the second position, because I never find myself in said position due to my aggressive nature at four away. :-) But seriously, I suspect that we are TGTD in the second position. I would really be mad at myself if I did not cube the first position.
