It does sound like Keene is somewhat confused. However, Keene may not lose as much money as the rollout equity suggests, for the following reason. If the reason it's a take is that the underdog has rare big wins, then you might have to play a very large number of games for those rare big wins to "average in" properly. Depending on how much stamina you have, Keene may have a decent shot at breaking even despite being theoretically under water.
