Neil vs. Mochy on GG

Neil was forced to make the match private after a few kibitzers accidentally kibitzed instead of whispered. Can't blame Neil at all. A few people laid the blame on the watchers who messed up. That's badly misguided. It's the fault of the site for not allowing the participants to mute the watchers. There were over 50 people watching the match, it's clear that somebody is going to accidentally kibitz something rather than whisper. In order to whisper, you have to put a dash in front of what you're writing:

- This is a whisper. The players can't see it.

This is a kibitz. The players see this.

If you're chatting away with the crowd, you're GOING to mess up.

Let's hope that GG is able to close this gap. Right now, GG is a terrific place to be able to watch world class backgammon, but this is a problem.
