Hatiputi?

Is anyone know funny game (frequently played in monte carlo within high rollers) called like hatiputi? Single blot cannot be hit and it is same as point. Points will be calculated by number of remains checkers of the board when one side bear all men off. If there are 15 checkers left, it is gammon. 15 * 2 =30 point. No jacoby rule is implemented.

I would like to know correct name of that game and origin of the game. Where does it come from? Who are playing?

Any information would be highly appreciated.
