Kharkov Open - new tournament format?

Jakob Garal said there will be new tournament format in Grandmaster division of Kharkov Open. Something called FPP-BSS-Tournament™ and explained on their site - http://xapkibopen.at.ua/load

Does anyone have information about how did that go? What did players say about the format?
