More Go-for-Two OT

Daniel Murphy posted a link to a Go-for-Two chart at footballcommentary.com.

The Go-for-Two-Chart at football commentary.com considers it clearly right to go for two at any point in the second half when, after scoring a touchdown you are: (1) leading by 12 ; (2)leading by 5 ; (3)trailing by 2 ; (4)trailing by 5 ; It also considers it correct to go for two in the second half when, after scoring a touchdown, you are: (1) leading by 2 with 12 or more minutes left -this is one I do not expect an NFL coach to choose in my life time; (2)leading by 1 with 18 minutes or less; (3)trailing by 8 with 21 minutes or less; (4)trailing by 9 with 15 minutes or less; (5)trailing by 10 with 12 minutes or less; (6)trailing by 13 with 24 minutes or less;

The most interesting/controversial decision on the chart, IMO, is the one to go for two when you are leading by two with more than 12 minutes left. I think I understand this but would love to hear what others think. Another controversial decision, that I do understand, is the one where you go for two when trailing by 8 with 21 minutes or less.
