College football BCS standings are such a joke. Missouri #5 and Mich. St. #6. Lines today are #14 Nebraska by 7 over Missouri and #18 Iowa by 6 over Mich. St. Every prognosticator picked Nebraska and Iowa. At the half Nebraska by 17 and Iowa by 30. So, why in the world did they have Missouri and Mich. St. ranked so high?
Everyone knew Missouri and Michigan State were suspect and likely not that good. But they still ranked them highly, above other obviously superior teams.
I think the same is true of Auburn and, possibly, Oregon.
Probably the two best teams are Boise State and TCU.
