Results differ in XG

I made a bet with a friend on some matches. We decided to use XG, world class level, to decide the PR, match favorite and number of errors/blunders. I ran it on my desktop computer and later on my laptop and go two different results. To verify my suspicion I ran it again a couple of times on my desktop and got different results every time. Not by much but enough to swing some of the bets.

Does anyone have an answer to why this is?

Is it because XGR+ does a small rollout that differs a little bit every time?

To get 100% consistent results would I have to use 5-ply instead of XGR+?
