Alcohol induced rant...

So, I go out drinking with some of my oldest friends who I haven't seen in years tonight. We end up going to Bar Louie (a fairly large chain Bar) which bills itself as a martini bar. Now, one of my favorite drinks is a Grey Goose Smoky Martini, a simple variant of a standard vodka martini (just add a splash of scotch and a twist of lemon), a drink any bartender should know. Except this one... Don't bartenders go to bartending school anymore? Or is all their time wasted on frou-frou drinks like apple-tinis, bikini-tinis, saketinis...
