64P 43D 32 to play

I don't get as excited as many of you about 3rd roll plays, but this one surprised me. The score is 3-away, 3-away.

In case I got the nactation wrong, you open with 64 and decide to make the two point (against this opponent) and with 43, he brings down two checkers (Good play! Perhaps I should have played 64 differently).

You roll 32. What do you play and why?
