Nebraska player (red/white) gets a 15 yard unsportmanslike conduct penalty for kicking out at an A&M player (maroon/white) while in a pile after a fumble. Then he gets another 15 yards for indignantly protesting the call. But what really happened?

I think the A&M player is in their TSA Screener curriculum.
As a bit of an aside, I wonder if criminal charges can be filed for occurrences that happen on the field during a football game? Not necessarily this act, but others of assault. Did Kermit Washington get charged with a crime for all but killing Rudy Tomjanovich way back when?
Steve, Joe, Alfred -- give us a little guidance here.
