The whole thing is the context. It is not rationalizing to say "polish prime" is not insulting. If you think, to do a "polish prime" in backgammon is a dump thing and you call it so, because you think polish are dump, then it is insulting and offending.

But when you are thinking, it is a bold technique an a goal line stand to retain some timing in an otherwise hopeless position, then you can think it is called "polish prime", to correlate the blots to the heros of polish history. The polish had there also enough goal line stands.

If polish people think, "polish prime" is offending, isn't there then a little bit truth?! If i would be polish, i would be proud about this terminus technicus.
