but how do you refer to African Africans, you can't call them just Africans, because there are also White Africans in Africa.
And Asian Africans ....
If you mean how would I refer to all the black peoples of Africa, excluding all the nonblack peoples: I would say black Africans, or blacks, or black peoples of Africa.
If you mean how would I refer to one black person from Africa: I suppose I'd say "African," unless there was some reason to be more specific with regard to nation, ethnic, cultural or self-selected identify. Nelson Mandela was African, Alan Paton was African, Nadine Gordimer was African. Only one of them was black.
