Multiple KO-System

I would like to suggest this system to you...
I see the following advantages with this system:
1. you can still win the tournament even though you have lost 2 or 3 matches.
2. you do not have to play an extra round, while others have a bye.
3. shorter matches are much more attractive for spectators and media.
4. shorter matches reflect much more the typical excitement of tournament & match play.
5. best of 3 is a good approach. but why playing 3 matches against the same opponent?
6. more matches together with a standard match length would help to get a functional rating system eventually.
7. you do not have to wait several hours for your opponent who is coming from main/conso.
I would play 7 point matches all the way from round 1 until the final.
---
the rules for the drawing are pretty simple: 1. as long as it is possible you use CH-system.
2. players who reach n defeats will be eliminated.
3. you will reach a point when the CH-system will not find pairings that have not happened before.
4. at this point you just draw by hand. and some players will play the same opponent again.
5. in case of an odd number, a player with the least points who had no bye yet will get the bye, which is worth a full point.
that's about it.

so far i did the following simulations:
simulation with 26 participants and 3-times-KO: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7939197/mko/3ko.htm
simulation with 26 participants and 4-times-KO: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7939197/mko/4ko.htm
simulation with 78 participants and 5-times-KO: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7939197/mko/5ko_78p.htm
please tell me what you think on this system! particularly critical aspects which could be the KO for this system ;-)
kind regards from ulm, germany
