XG rollout option

I am not sure how this roll-out option works in XG:

Roll for both Double and NoDouble: If checked, a rollout of a move will roll both the line with the opponent doubling and not doubling.

Are the two results averaged? Does XG only report the result from what it believes is the "correct" cube action? Do I totally misunderstand this?

I am assuming rollouts will be slower with this checked but by how much? Are the results more accurate with this on? Any guidelines on when I should/should not use this?
