OT -- College Football - More bad decisions, Zeus answers please?

#1) Georgia vs. UCF, Georgia has 4th and inches from the 2 yard line, score 0-0, 2:13 left in the 1st quarter, all timeouts left for both sides. Field goal (as played) or go for it? (Curious about this kind of early game decision.)

#2) UCF vs. Georgia, UCF has 4th and 7 from the 7 yard line, 0:38 left in the 2nd quarter, trailing 0-3. One timeout left, GA has 3 timeouts left. I think this is less bad because when you don't socre there is almost no value to leaving GA on the 7 yard line with no time left in the half. It still might be right to go for the TD.

Thanks for the info, Chuck. (And of course, just pretend it is a pro game; I'm not worried about the rules about the spot after a missed field goal, etc.)
