reporting of doubling point for live cube/ XG

Suppose the score is 2 away 3 away. If the cube is at one and it is a last roll situation then a correct double is at about 42% with a cash at about 63%. That is what XG reports as the dead cube values. Another way of looking at the 42% value is that the cube were to be removed from play for the rest of the game would you prefer the game to be worth one or two points? If there are no bonus wins possible the 2 away player preers that with at least 42% win chance.

Now suppose there will be an automatic recube to 4 that will be taken. The cash point is about 75%. What about the give point? Taking into account the autorecube the choice for the 2 away player is between having the cube at one or having it at four. If no cubing were allowed for the rest of the game the breakeven point is about 67%. This is what I think would be most useful to report as the double point for a live cube. XG reports it as 42% though.

Now of course a player must take into account the opponent's recube power but if there will be an auto recube that will be taken the 42% value is worthless when one knows the 67% value.

I think the give point though should be reported as though you are just "doubling" to 4. XG gives the same give point as it does for the dead cube situation.
