One thing that I observed when I recorded and studied all my play over many years is that I seemed to reach a wall in skill level, never really improving my error rate as I went forward. I’m always good for a few blunders in every match. I can play at something like an error rate of 5, but I’ve never been able to really get much better than that. I guess everyone is only so smart! “You have to know your limitations…”

Gregg gets top marks for honesty, humility, and courage. However, I strongly disagree with his conclusion. I think Gregg could be considerably better than a 5 player. But it would (of course) take a lot of study time, and it's clear from the rest of the article that he's not currently willing to invest such. I can relate to that.
