though I personally prefer 24/21 since it gives the opponent more tricky rolls next turn

I contest. Even if it was true, which I don't think it is, slotting lengthens the game considerably when it doesn't work, complicating nicely. When it does work, well then it worked =)

That 13/10 edges ahead of 24/21 surprises me a little bit but it's believable.

It's gammon go, wouldn't surprise me. What does surprise me is that people seem to be doing 6 ply and 7 ply evaluations ... why? There's XGR+ which has to be better than either of these evals. I also wouldn't make any conclusions that 10 is ahead of 21 from a 7 ply eval. (maybe you already looked at Nack's 5k rollout info though)
