4 point money game

I was wondering if somebody had study how to handle the cube in a 4 point money game when you hold a cube at 2 and youre wondering if you should cap it at 4.

In a straight race the recube is at about 65% winning chance.

Vs a holding game you should recube a litte bit ealier than normal.

Some other positions when you have something like 60-65% winning chance but your gammon is around 30% you should hold on to the cube not to kill your gammon.

I am not sure if its possible to come up with precise figure based on winning chance, gammon percentage to come up with a capping rule or if we have to take the nature of the position into account.

I am sure some match player can help me with it,
