Santa Fe Update Day 2

We had 22 teams in the Land of Enchantment free doubles event, and close to 50 players at the dinner beforehand. The most interesting first-round matchup was between Fogerlund/P. Rosenblum and Kazaross/Biss. Ray and Penina prevailed in a close one.

I had the rare pleasure of playing alongside Frank Talbot, and we even drew a first-round bye, but the fun stopped there as we lost our three-point match in one game to a local couple.

I left before seeing who won the event.

The masters' and limited jackpots and various side events commence tomorrow.
