Masters' Semifinalists: Bill Riles vs. Neil Kazaross and Mark Antranikian vs. Stepan Nuniyants

Roadrunner Jackpot Semifinalists: Josh Racko vs. Kenny Litzenberger and Lawrence Wilson vs Lynn Lusk

The Land of Enchantment Doubles event yesterday was won by Carl Blumenstein and Mark Antranikian over Ray Fogerlund and Penina Meisels.

Blitz qualifiers were won by Frank Talbot, Harvey Gillis, Joe Potts, Josh Racko, Greg Cottle, and Herb Roman.

A first-round masters' matchup between UBK and Joe Russell ended with a combined 29 seconds left on the clock. UBK, the master of clock brinksmanship, ended up with 7 seconds on his timer, while Joe had a relatively plush cushion of 22 seconds.

"Seeded" teams for the Calcutta tomorrow are Fogerlund/Davis, Russell/O'Laughlin, Sax/Talbot, and Kazaross/Nuniyants.

My first day of helping to run an ABT event was a bit overwhelming, but I think everything went off OK.
