I had my lunch at a nice grill near the Santa Fe plaza. Much better than BK and just as appropriate for the donking to follow.

All thoughout my career I have suffered from poor play early in the match and this is no exception. LOL here as I somehow talked myself into taking a clear pass in a game that is very hard to win since I get further primed much of the time. Then later on, after Stepan didn't hit me as he should on his bar pt (was blotty but best) I err again by deciding to leave the checker there hoping for big luck.

I've gone so far as to play a short practice match vs a bot, or even a short match vs a human to warm up, and it rarely seems to help me play better in game 1 or 2.

Hmm.. 40% of my total error cost in this match in the first game of a 13 game match .. not such a good way to start out.
