Additionally, when you click on a link and then you want to return to the main page, aka load the 88,000 posts again, you should not click the link at the top of the page, 'Return to Index'. If you do this, all the posts will have to reload.

What you want to do is hit your back button on the browser or use the keyboard shortcut as I do, alt + left arrow. This will take you back to the 88,000 messages without having to reload them.
